I'm Pulvret, and I love PLO!
I’ve been playing cards my whole life and poker since I was 14. In my twenties I played live hold’em full-time — grinding in cardrooms across Europe and Vegas, living the life. Then I stepped away from poker completely for a few years to do other things.
When I came back, it was online, and it wasn’t hold’em anymore. PLO is what pulled me back in — and it’s what made me fall in love with the game all over again!
More recently I started playing on crypto poker sites, with zero prior crypto experience. I made plenty of mistakes along the way — some of them expensive, most of them avoidable if I’d known what I know now.
That’s exactly why this site exists. I’m building the resource I wish I’d had when I started: honest breakdowns of the rooms, the tools, and the traps, so you can skip the mistakes I made.
The $100 → $10k challenge
Right now I’m running a bankroll challenge on CoinPoker: starting from $100, building up to $10,000, playing my way up from PLO2 to PLO100. Follow along on stream to watch it unfold — wins, losses, and everything in between.

Who was the original Pulvret?
Pulvret isn’t just a poker alter ego — it’s a nod to my favourite childhood books. Inger och Lasse Sandberg’s Pulvret stories, my favourites being Hjälpa till, sa Pulvret (Help out, said Pulvret) and Låna den, sa Pulvret (Borrow it, said Pulvret) followed a small, mischievous character who was always up to something — exactly as he said it.
I’m keeping that tradition alive at the poker table. Bet the pot, said Pulvret.
Off the felt
I’m based in Sweden, with my wife and our two daughters.
When I’m not at the tables, I’m usually working on a home project — baking sourdough, brewing wine, growing a fig tree I probably shouldn’t have planted this far north, or trying to talk a citrus seedling into surviving a Swedish winter.
I work part time as a software developer and I have previously studied mechanical engineering and have a masters in mechatronics. I’m a trained fire fighter, life guard and have a commercial pilot license, but I never ended up working with any of those things.
Travelling has been a large part of my life, seeing a lot of Europe, visiting South America and Australia. I once bought a small sail boat with three of my friends and we spent a year sailing it from Sweden to the Caribbean islands and back again.
I have been called restless and I have been turned down from a position once because my resume was too colourful. Personally I think I’m a relaxed and calm being, easy-going – I just like to do things!
